I have seem similar masses passed from my easterns and my yellowtail.

It happens rather frequently. You described it well...i've heard others experience the same. I was concerned at first too. I can tell you I have absolutly no idea waht it is...but my healthy snakes have been passing those globuals occationally for quite a while with no other effects...I don't think it's anything to worry about.
