....what a F'ing disaster it was for me this year. 3 eggs looked really good. I paid 500 bucks for a good incubator only to learn the hard way that a forced air system with fans tends to dry out the top half of your substrate completely, giving you the impression MORE water is needed, causing you (me...the idiot), to add more water, whereby your substrate super-saturates on the bottom half and you basically end up with eggs sitting in a half inch of "sludge" on the bottom.
I feel like such an a-hole.....regular old Colubrids hatching in my closet between 80-90 degrees sure is a heck of a lot easier and cheaper.
500 bucks for the 'bator, countless rats and hours of worry and doing what you thought was right and here I stand with my d#ck in my hand to show for it.
AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!
