The fact is, there are still many viable populations of E. indigos in the wild. Breeding notes and data can be of use to the scientists trying to save the animals in the wild, but we are NO WHERE NEAR the point of trying to release captive babies in the wild.
All "breeding out" would do at this point is possibly contaminate the pure strains that are out there.
I understand that you have good intentions, but I don't think this is a good idea at all.
