Along with the previously mentioned ways to help wild populations is that you can give to charities such as the Nature Conservancy's Florida Chapter. They use the received funds to buy land that is set aside, in perpetuity, for wild life. Several areas they are acquiring contain populations of indigos.

The biggest threat to Indigos is habitat loss.
