: Hello,
: This year I successfully bred a male snow corn with an albino black rat female. I got four very large eggs from this pair. I was expecting the eggs to hatch out as "normal" colored hybrid snakes, but to my surprise all four hatched out "albino." They look like albino black rats, but are more of a pinkish color and have the "spearpoint" pattern typical of the corn snake.

Very good! You have just proven that the tyrosinase negative mutant in the black rat is at the same locus as amelanistic in the corn snake. It's nice to know the parallelism across species.
