Alright, I'll give it a shot! I've heard different theories for why fevers happen in mammals, like viruses simply screwing with the internal thermostat of the organism, but I doubt my warmth-loving reptile will mind at all. =) I'll keep everyone posted, and thanks to everybody again!

:well the fever iunducing thing is simple as snake have to use heat to get warm and cool off un like mammals, they can not get a fever like we can. ever had a bad cold and a fever to go along with it? well the fever burns out the virus that is causing the cold, and will do the same for the snake. this is just a suggestion but i have done it num,erous times with boas, and pyhtons with success. i think if i were you i would find a better vet, cause if he cant find something wrong and there is definately something wrong, he either needs to consult someone or find out for himself.
