to herp for Z's in So Cal at all. Don't let this
happen. (this BS is why I get bent out of shape
when I hear this BS of population declines of
road side populations and such.)

C California mountain kingsnakes (Lampropeltis zonata): Sport take prohibited in Los Angeles,
Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties (To protect the San Diego mountain
kingsnake subspecies (L. z. pulchra) and the San Bernardino mountain kingsnake subspecies (L.
z. parvirubra).
This is a bunch of B.S. Since when do we protect
animals being collected in a mountian range 100
miles away from a herp of concern??
I didn't see the parvirubra being protected. Is it
going to be?? Does anyone have any info on that?
Come on all you Cal herpers. A call to arms. Start
emailing everyone. www.dfg.ca.gov mail the
commission if you cant make it.
