Their desire would be to eliminate the ability to touch, retain, or even think about ANY z's. Looks like Rubber Boas will be a target too.
The Dec 6 mtg would be beneficial to attend, but that is that date they plan to adopt the changes. I am toying with the idea of driving up to Redding this Friday. Not sure how I'll swing it with work (Friday was to be my last day, and when I would conduct the exit interview), but we'll see. Any bay area folks want to carpool and try to split the costs of the trip up? (I'm poor, and leaving this forsaken state anyway, so don't have as much of a vested interest). The topic will come up mid-morning on Fri, so it would be a real early departure.
The other alternative would be to leave REAL early Thurs to attend the public forum first thing. If anyones schedule is flexable enough, shoot me an e-mail with your ph #. Thurs would probably be easier for me, but to speak on Friday immediately prior to the topic would be more relavant.
