This is 1.1 which I hatched in 2002. Their mother is a bloodred. They should be able to reproduce the "bloodred" pattern, from what I've gathered.
There's been quite a bit of controversy about whether there is a "pattern trait" associated with the bloodred morph. My belief is that it exists, and is inherited in a simple-recessive (or "semi/mostly/somewhat-recessive") fashion. I hope that this cross can help to clear some of that up, since "color" will not be at issue in the hatchlings. ;-)
They're pouring on the yellow on their neck now. They both just ate (on hoppers now) last night so they're a but bulged.
I've talked to Sean at VMS Herps, and he says he has produced snow bloods, and they do look distinct. It should be a fun project, even if I really don't like snows. :)
I can also breed the male to the mom, since she's het snow, and also het charcoal... so I might even find out he's het charcoal by hatching out blizzards. :-D
