Yep, these are only "hets" because only the mother is a bloodred. In a few of the hatchlings I can see a bit of oddness in the head patterns (kinda stretched-looking) in some of the clutch, but not a whole lot of it.

Taceas: the "skull" pattern is what you can see if you look at them from an overhead shot. There are often two "holes" on ones where the head isn't 100% grayed out. To a lot of people these holes look the "eye sockets" in a human skull.


(I like the "mouth" on this one, too.)

Some can look more like a skull from the other direction (nose at the bottom of the picture)
