Desert horned adders (Cerastes cerastes) aren't colorful, but they have some killer accessories!
You sound like you're looking for something a little more arboreal, but I wanted to put a plug in for these guys- not many people keep them and even fewer breed. And they DO like it warm. Mine has a basking spot at 90-95 degrees, and my ambient temp is 75.
