I went on an over night autobobile trip last week. While driving in the middle of the night I tuned into a talk radio station too occupy myself while driving. Anyway, somehow the talk got around to American service men in the field and the hazards from snake and scorpion bites. It eventually got carried away and wound up being dropped. After thinking, is there any records of U.S service men receiving fatal snake bites while in the field? I would think that the greatest chances of that occuring would have been in the South Pacific Islands during WW2 and In Viet Nam.Just curious if any records are available. Thank you in advance.
