Owning Venomous

Hi I am new to the forum and looking for some info. I have kept and been keeping snakes for around five to six years now non-venomous. Now I am looking into getting into Venomous and was thinking about the Gaboon Viper as a starter I have read some about it and was needing some more info on care and housing and such or if this is not a good choice for a starter let me know of one that is. I already know about the proper tools such as snake hooks and hemostats but need some more info. Let me know and thanks for anything you can tell me.
