It's good that you'll have the tank already set up when you bring him home. As for the trip itself, they have hot packs that I've seen shipped with the uros but don't know where I got them. Strictly Reptiles did a really good job shipping overnight, and the pack was still warm. Honestly though, I don't know that you have too much to worry about with only a three hour trip. I'd imagine that the temps in the car won't be incredibly cold. Good luck.

:I am planning to get a uromastyx soon. I have arelative in edmonton that will give us discounts cuz he owns a pet store.....So were going to buy our stuff there. But Im going to move to calgary. Were going to set our tank in calgary, drive back, buy a uro and bring him there.... Its about a 3 hour trip... Should I do this, and if so, how should I bring him? (ice packets, hot water bottles?)
