FYI-
I use plain millet- both red and white. It is easy to work with and costs less which can be a big plus when working with a large number of enclosures. I purchase a good quality grade millet at a garden/feed store and sift it to remove shells and dust. I sprinkle Forti Diet parakeet seed on top and also offer Exact rainbow pelleted finch food.
I would probably trust the parakeet seed a little more than wild bird food as I would assume it would be of a little higher grade. Then again, this is an assumption. Not certain the regulations on seed quality when it comes to wild versus pet.
:i found a paraket bird seed that dosent have any sunflower seeds in it so is that fine or just wild bird seed thanks
