It also depends on the color of your walls. All my walls are really pale, so they "stand out" a little more. In addition, I have other types of lizard living on my house (mostly anoles). You should see what the resident Texas Spiny Lizard left me in the driveway--you'd think a bobcat was prowling the area!

I've seen a lot of large geckos around my house (well, large for geckos, anyway).
