Almost all of TP Texas is private land. This means legal herping is restricted to herping along roadsides at night (along rock cuts can be good for some species). : 2. Game wardens patrol many of the more popular W TX herping locales. Make sure you have a valid hunting license in your possesion at all times when herping. : 3. Make sure you are familiar with the venomous species of herps and other critters which are so prevalent in the area.
