Eric-- You can get away with a fairly small area for Blandings. I have a breeder friend that has about 10 breeders in a 15 X 8 Koi pond. Obviously, you can't go wrong making your enclosure bigger. Blandings are excellent swimmers and they can handle deep water just fine. But they prefer to hang out in shallow water with a lot of vegetation. They like to walk around a lot so land area is essential. They also like to bask. They aren't very good climbers (since they're so big) so your wall doesn't need to be tall...just something that has a sheer face. Let me know if you need any other info. I hope that helps. --Maxx
