When you say shallow what is considered shallow? I also heard that too shallow is not good for predators...I was thinking the center around 3 feet deep and gradually slope to the sides.

When you say large area of land what is large? Can anyone give me rough estimates on pond size...dimensions for a 2.3 group of spotteds. what about 2.3 spotteds and 1.2 balndings? Any rough dimensions on how much land? I just am not sure what you mean when you say large area.
