if a frog is jumping around, bumping into the sides then something is wrong with the setup. the frogs are awake at night. mine would sit in the water for a few hours every night too but they would move around somewhat. I would get a bigger tank though. might be small frogs now but they will outgrow that tank soon enough. I kept two white's in a 55 gal tank for years with no problem.
