A wild caught animal will usually have parasites, and the effects of an heavy infestation may not always be immediately observable. I strongly urge you to collect a fresh fecal sample and get it to the vet for testing. A simple, safe oral drug may be all it needs to save its life.


Thanks, I never considered that. The vet said he was quite fat but I'm sure parasites could still be present. I will collect a sample.
