Hey, i have 14 ATB (including 11 babies) and this is very normal, ATB will spend about 30-60% of there time in the trees, and the rest on ground, and my babies will burrow alot of times, and my male only climbs at late night and mid afternoon. also make sure you have a temp gage, i went for a year with out one and when i bought one i could not bleave how hot it was, if the top of the cage is to hot they will go were it is cooler, make the hotest part about 85 and have a basking spot arond 90-95. also its good to keep tabs on the humidity, i try to keep it at around 60-70% and at times a brang it up to 90-95% when shedding, i try to mist mine each to every other day. well good luck!
