ATB Question

I bought an ATB this month at the Houston reptile show. It's my first. I've got her set up properly. She eats good. She's very active at night, but during the day stays on the ground hidden under the plants or wood. Is this normal? The guy I bought them from had them set up in display tanks and they were all sitting at the highest point of the enclosure much like GTP's. Replies appreciated.
