Glad to see you got some ammies. I didn't know you were that serious when we were on the phone looking at ads.
I don't have the foggiest about length/weight, but I can tell you that ammies look a lot smaller in person than they do in pictures. That little red-ish colored one I have is about 3 or 3.5 feet long, but no larger in diameter than a nickel.
Go to Corallus.com forums and you'll get answers from guys like Danny Mendez (he wrote the ATB article in Reptiles a couple years ago), John Camp, Ralph from Dark Grove, etc.
