:Many items are OK as part of a varied diet.
:You can get into trouble by over-reliance one one or two items. I have a tiny leopard tortoise and feed it clover, dandelion leaves, grass, mazuri chow with timothy hay, hibiscus flowers and leaves, and a few greens.
:If I feed it more than a little bit of greens (collards, turnip greens, romaine, red lettuce, etc), its stools get runny. Not enough fiber.
:According to the USDA database, romaine has more phosphorous than calcium. So it's not a food you should use as a major part of the diet.
:
What I do is mix it with mazuri, grass, brocolli, sweet potatoe and some other weeds is that okay?
