If they are in fact "species" then technically there should be some form of prezygotic or postzygotic isolation that prevents them from hybridizing, or at a huge cost. That is why they are species to begin with. It would be interesting to see what could hybridize. Most likely a close relative or an evolutionary sister species that evolved in allopatry would be a likely candidate. But at the huge cost of reduced fitness in whatever animal comes out of it.
