Billy, I really enjoy your posts on all of the forum but I have to disagree with you here. Iguanas are NOT easy, at least not to keep properly. I have about the same number of Tegus and Iguanas here at most times...currently have 17 Tegus and 18 Greens. The iguanas are much more work and time consuming than the Tegus.

I spend a lot of time educating at schools, herp shows and science events and try to discourage potential iguana owners that don't have the "right stuff" that it takes to keep an iguana successfully. All you need to do is take a look at the majority of the rescues that we get and see the horrendous shape that they're in to decide that they are not so easy.
