I was in a pet store and saw a kingsnake advertised as a Chihuahua Mountain Kingsnake, which is L. p. knoblochi. But when I checked out the snake, it looked much more like L. p. pyromelana. My question is, can L. p. knoblochi have yellow bands, or are they always white. In every picture I have seen, the knoblochi has had white bands, and the pyromelana has had yellow. The snake in the pet store definately has yellow bands. The black outlining of the snake in the pet store had many areas where the black touches along the back, which looks more like the L. p. pyromelana then L. p. knoblochi. Also, I have seen L, p. knoblochi called Chihuahua Mountain kingsnake, and also Tamahumura Mountain kingsnake, which is right?????
Thanks
