Obituary - Pailsus (1998-2002)

Posted by WW on March 25, 2002 at 04:59:48:

It is with profound gladness that the demise was announced today of Pailsus, oldest genus-level offspring of Raymond T. Hoser, and elder sibling of Katrinus and Lenhoserus.

Pailsus was weakened from birth due to insufficiently developed scientific evidence. During its short life, it was dogged by controversy, and, in its weakened state, was unable to resist a brief attack of DNA sequence analysis. Experts now fear that a similar fate may befall its siblings Katrinus and Lenhoserus, which suffer from similar congenital birth defects.

Additional memorial services will be held in the near future in the peer-reviewed literature, and will be announced here and elsewhere. Contributions in the shape of reprint requests will be gladly accepted at that time.

A preliminary post-mortem report may be consulted at the link below.

Cheers,

WW
