Most often, they involve fantastic, but very reallistic, finds of large numbers of highly prized snakes. Do any of you other "field junkies" exhibit this type of herping withdrawal symptoms during the off-season? Could this be tied in with the fact that I make it a point to re-read "Snakes and Snake Hunting" and "In Search of Reptiles and Amphibians" every winter to help get me through till spring?

i get basically the same dreams. dreams of finding great beautiful snakes. i have these dreams i believe because i can never actually find any other than at glades herp! i cant ever find a single snake!
