Es tut mir leid. My spiny softshell, Augustus was killed in a thunder storm 3 years ago. I live in AZ and there was a huge micro-burst a while back, during a major hailstorm, he surfaced for air(living in an outdorr pond) and was hit in the head with a hailstone the size of a golfball. it was not a pretty sight.
