:i agree with randy and bianca. Put them back where you found em. If you are really serious about keeping a softshell and know what you are getting yourself into(big enclosure or pond and everything else softshells need, do the research) then only keep one.
::We found four baby softshells in the Tippiecanoe River in Indiana. We don't know what kind they are, if they are boys or girls, or what they eat. They are only about 2 inches long. They have spots and a pointy nose. We also do not know how much water to keep them in and if they will get along in a 10 gallon tank.
::Thank You for your help.

I have to say, i know everyone makes mistakes, but WHY ON EARTH do people insist on getting an animal, plucking it from it's natural enviroment, and THEN thinking, oh god, i have no idea what i am doing. Usually the turtle will die, and if not, it gets too big and is abandoned THEN when it has no survival skills. PLEASE let the turtles go. If you are really interested in them, read up, learn more, THEN get a softshell.
After you have them isn't the best time to learn. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but PLEASE think of the turtles' welfare. Are you willing to sacrifice their lives while you learn how to properly care for them.
