i agree with randy and bianca. Put them back where you found em. If you are really serious about keeping a softshell and know what you are getting yourself into(big enclosure or pond and everything else softshells need, do the research) then only keep one.
:We found four baby softshells in the Tippiecanoe River in Indiana. We don't know what kind they are, if they are boys or girls, or what they eat. They are only about 2 inches long. They have spots and a pointy nose. We also do not know how much water to keep them in and if they will get along in a 10 gallon tank.
