I was at SEWERFEST in WI today and I dont have space in my room for another snake, so I got a Florida softshell turtle. I admit I never researched any turtle, though I have a few painted turtles in a baby pool outside. All I had is $25 so I bought a Fl. Softshell for $5. I am only 14 but I think that I can care for it. What do I need to know? I keep alot of snakes, so I have some reptile experiance. I have it in a 10 gallon tank right now but I will move it to a baby pool in a few weeks. What I really want to know is what is the best to feed it. I have the store bought turtle pellets, but it seems that turtles HATE them. I also have tubiflex worms. Should I buy better food? Is there anything special I need to do? I am not totally stupid with reptiles, and I know the basics such as don't hold it for a while to keep the stress low, and to provide places to hide, ect. Thanks alot!
Phil
