You don't understand, my parents make me keep all my snakes in my bedroom, which is tiny. I can keep my turtle in it's own baby pool outside in the summer, and i can keep it in the basement in a baby pool with heat lights in the winter.

:you don't have room for a snake, but you got a florida softshell? Unfortunately a florida softshell, at adult size, will require much more space than the largest commonly kept constrictor snakes. The florida softshell is the largest north american softshell, and will at minimum be needing a several hundred gallon tank by adulthood... they are HUGE, and FAST, and not easy to handle, especially when they get an attitude, but I'll let people more experienced with softshells fill you in.
