2 1/2 inch turtle has bite wounds

I got my baby softshell turtle as a present about a year ago, and not knowing any better, I put her with my red eared slider. oops, big mistake. I recently separated them because the slider was just eating her up. Plus my baby turtle has only grown about 1/2 an inch since I got her......I am treating her wounds with an antibiotic shell cream daily. Can't tell if it's working yet. How fast are they supposed to grow? What else can I do for her?
