florida common questions

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the temp. shouldn't go beyond for my baby florida common snapper. I had it at 76 and my heater broke so, now it's at 85 which, I don't think is good but, don't know. Problem is if I just take the heater out it'll be at 60. I'm juwst wondering if I need to buy a new heater or not. Also, I was just using a lamp with a heat bulb for UVB and I now got a hood for the tank but, I was wondering if he'll still get the UVB since there's that sheets of glass under the striplight. Thanks in advance for helping me out.
