My alligator snapper punctured his pond liner and is now in 12-14" water depth (100 gallons) instead of his 20" depth (200 gallons). Low eveneing temps. are expected to drop to 30 degress (F) soon for a few hours. Do I need to take him indoors or buy another pond? I found a round 260 gallon in-ground style prefab pond that is 18" deep. I'm hoping it'll support itself outside of the ground. Should I get it or will he be okay in N FL weather for a few chilly nights?
