True, the land should be saved, but by captive propogation at least the animals will have a future if the land happens to go in which it is all the time. After seeing a red blood python at the zoo that was definately a wild caught with all the ticks on it, I was a bit perplexed at why it was there alone on display especially when there are soo many captive hatched ones on the market for cheap. Why display a wild caught animal that is as abundant commercially as a red blood? This is just one example. It's pretty obvious that "zoo guys" and "breeders" have different philophy as a rule whether or not zoo guys keep herps. I guess we need democrats as well as republicans huh? I can only hope that my annual "Zoo membership" money is getting spent wisely. I am electing not to attend the meetings for personal reasons and by not attending the meetings, anyone should feel free to post messages, members or not. I guess that is all that is on my mind and will just leave it at that. I wish nothing but fruitful progress for the SDHS now and always.
