optimum cage construction for boa

I live in Costa Rica. I recently caught a small boa in my yard, approx. 1 meter, strong and healthy. I have kept many snakes years ago in the states but they were in aquariums. Here we have such stable and moderate climate we keep all of our animals outdoors. I need info on cage size, shape, materials, hide boxes, etc. Any advice or info source is greatly appreciated. Also, I understand we have 4 types of boas here but I have no resource for id. Any resouces or comprehensive field guides to recommend? Thanks!
