escaped snake

Any suggestions from anyone out there on how to find an escaped ksb? I haven't checked on my snake in about 3 days and when I went to get him out today to feed him he was gone. I keep him in an aquarium with a sliding screen lid that locks. The lid was locked but the snake was gone! The lid will slide back about 1/6th an inch while locked if its pushed hard enough. I've been using this cage for almost 2 years now and never had a problem. Guess my luck ran out and I should have been more careful. Anyway, now I need to locate this guy and have no idea where to start. He also hasn't eaten in about 4 weeks. Any advise will be much appreciated!
