Rack box size?

I'm designing a rack that will house collubrids and also rosies. Since I have a small collection, I can afford to give the snakes more room than would be considered adequate. I'm looking at 2 Iris boxes for the rosies. One is 13.5 x 16 x 7, or approx. 216 sq. in. floor space, which seems a little small to me. The other is 16.25 x 24.25 x 6.25, or 394 sq. in., which I'm sure is more than big enough. Unless someone convinces me otherwise, I'll go for the bigger box. What do you think?
