The course calcium carbonate (like the "edible" sand substate stuff) is not okay to use, but the calcium carbonate powder IS okay to use? Or not?

The reason I ask is I have a huge 250g (8.8 oz) container of powdered calcium carbonate that I just bought for my herps a little while ago. I won't use it anymore if it's bad to use, but darn, it was a lot of money.

I also have the sprayable calcium (not really sure why I bought it now, haven't used it once) that is calcium chloride. Do you know anything about this? Is it okay (safe) to use?

Thanks.
