they were. I was not using the exact 2:1, it was a little bit different (more like 1:1) but essintal the same thing. A few animals since then have been on it too because they refuse to eat crix. Matisse is a good example. She pretty much was not into the crix thing, so had no choice and had to feed her the fruit/meat mix. She is well over a year now and half the size of our other adults. The same thing happened with Muppet, she is over 2 and just now big enough to even consider breeding. My aurics are bit over weight, because that’s all they wanted in the beginning. Once I got them on crix their growth sped up and they slimmed down a bit. These are just some of the reasons why I reached some of the conclusions I have, but hey use what works best for you.
