In Reply to: Hi, just got a gorgeous crested gecko I have a few questions posted by jack7777766 on April 13, 2003 at 18:09:27:

Jack,
Follow bill’s advice about feeding the fruit meat mix. You should only stick with nectar fruits, stay away from all others. IMO you really should be feeding crix as a staple, esp for young animals. See my reason in the post below. Also your crested gecko is going to need a larger setup in a few short months. If given the proper diet at the age of 4 months he should be too large for the setup. Don’t forget these are active animals and they benefit greatly from a little bit of extra room. Send me an e-mail (link above) and I will send you a complete crested gecko e-guide. It contains all the info you should ever need in keeping, handling, feeding, breeding, etc. Best of luck with the new crested.
-Mike
