Problems with crestie diet "geling"...

arrr its very stupid question but how do you guys make your crested diet "gel" properly. For me its like this really liquidy thing that stays liquidy and all the stuff falls to the bottom.
Help me plz (also tips on trying to make them eat the diet VERY MUCH appreciated)
