I have not done this with cresties yet, but there are two possibilities...
1. If the bowl is deep enough and the crickets are small enough, they can't jump out anyway.
2. My son said at the museum where he does animal care, they remove the back "jumping" legs from the cricket. The cricket can still move around and "walk" but can't jump. They bowl feed this way all the time at the museum.
