Lighting definitly plays a part in crested photographs. Below is a couple of the same gecko in different conditions and different moods! Most of the time she is a chocolaty/reddy brown, others she is beige, sometime orangey red. I though that R.Ciliatus were polymorphic so why do some people place high prices on nice coloured specimens? I still think one of the nicest cresteds I have seen was a completely green one.
