No my male is not aggressive with me AT ALL. I have never been bit or anything. He is actually quite calm, which is why I am confused. Even when I touch him well they are fighting he won't bit me or even attempt it. I know you did tell me to put him in with the female, which I will do now, but I was afraid it might be worse because she is only in a 15 gallon. I thought that she would have no where to hide. I'll try it again this weekend with the male in the female's cage.

It's just weird that he has not shown any signs of aggression any other time. Only with females he is like this.
Do you think he doesn't understand what to do? so he gets mad?
I can't see this though.

Thanks,
Liz

:Liz,
:Didn’t we talk about this before? Your male sounds overly aggressive, it is not normal but it sometimes happens, we have one too. Evil little guy, I wont go near him…lol. Anyway by introducing the female into his cage he might have felt threatened by her presence in his territory. Last time you posted I recommended that you put the male in the female’s cage, this way he has no territory to defend. He might let off his guard and not be as aggressive when mating. You really should have tried that first. If the male still acts aggressive he should prob not be used for breeding instead of risking any of the females. I hope you do not sell him though; he will make a great evil pet…lol. It’s fun trying to dodge them when cleaning their cages…hehe.
