Since I don't really have any husbandry questions to ask, or any amazing announcements to make...I thought I'd give everyone a question to ponder and drool over.

My dream destination right now would be to get an all-expense paid trip to New Caledonia. Especially considering that a few of the Rhac family (specifically R. trachyrhynchus & subspecie and island populations of R. leachianus)are now thought to be either endangered or possibly extinct.

*My question is: What would you do if you were given that pre-paid trip to Grand Terre (main island), Isle of Pines (home of the crested), or any of the other islands within the archipelago?*

Personally, I would try to get to all of the islands an see all of the Rhacs in their own habitat. And hopefully get to take some observations on each one and their preferences towards where they spend, most of their time.

I know it may seem a little boring, but there really isn't much known about their native habitats. Plus, I'd like to get some permits and bring home a pair or two of each species. *big grin*

Now what would you do? Where would you go?

Yeah it may sound a little childish, but it's all in good fun. Only tryin to spice this place up a bit.

Ian

BTW, if no one answers this, we'll just act like I never wrote it. OK? lol
